Tom Parmelee serves as a partner at Parmelee Brothers Settlement Consulting, also known as Atlas Settlement Group, Inc. in St. Louis.
Tom’s career in structured settlements began in 1995 when he joined a prominent structured settlement firm, where he worked for 12 years handling marketing, sales, and general settlement work. In 2007, he brought his expertise to Atlas Settlement Group, Inc. in St. Louis.
With over 30 years of experience, Tom works closely with attorneys and their clients to achieve the best possible outcomes for their future. He has a comprehensive background in claims involving general liability, mass tort, workers’ compensation, trucking, and medical malpractice. His expertise extends to analyzing life care plans, calculating future loss, establishing Plaintiff Recovery Trusts, and structuring attorneys’ fees. As an active member of the National Structured Settlements Trade Association (NSSTA), Tom has delivered numerous presentations on structured settlements to law firms and the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis.
He is an active supporter of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the St. Louis Society for the Physically Disabled, the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation, the Greater St. Louis Hemophilia Association, and the American Parkinson Disease Association. Tom earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Illinois State University in 1995.
In his personal life, Tom enjoys playing golf, landscaping, and spending time with his dog, Finnegan.
